With a 600mW amplifier and a high-gain bi-directional antenna, its SR600EX Pro Smart Repeater can expand the range of your internet transmissions by up to 1.5 miles. The device also has two extra network ports for other devices and is designed for large buildings, boats, RVs or, you know… massive gadget labs. On the other hand, the AP600EX Pro Access Point can sit on the end of a wired network and do the same job for building-to-building connections. Both devices come with a 30-foot power-over-ethernet cable and are available today for $180.

Not enamored by any
upcoming AirPlay-enabled HiFi systems? Audyssey’s curiously square Lower East Side Audio Dock Air could be worth a shot. This is the second wireless speaker from the company, which last year used its
audio know-how for the
South of Market Bluetooth Dock. The LESADA’s light on features, but utilizes “Smart Sound technology” to offer what Audyssey claims is best-in-class audio quality. The unit itself is loaded with two 1-inch tweeters, a duo of 3-inch midrange drivers and two thumping 4-inch passive bass radiators. Up top there’s a single volume wheel, while on the front and back you’ll find a headphone jack and a 3.5mm input (if you’d prefer the vintage experience of plugging in). The Lower East Side Audio Dock Air — in all its cubey goodness — is slated to hit shelves in November for about $400. Full PR past the break.

A surprise Ice Cream Sandwich handset this is not — for that news, you’ll have to wait until later tonight. No, RIM’s portrait QWERTY slider may not be the freshest bit of kit in the smartphone arena, but for those dedicated CrackBerry few on T-Mobile, it’s 14.4Mbps speeds just might be enough. A leaked screenshot over on TmoNews shows the Torch 9810, currently available on AT&T, alongside a list of its well-known specs. Apart from the addition of WiFi calling and the new Magenta digs, not much here has changed. The capacitive touchscreen still measures in at 3.2-inches, and RIM hasn’t bumped the quality of its 5 megapixel rear camera nor the phone’s 8GB of storage. While this internal pic doesn’t tip us off to an upcoming release window, we’re pretty sure this is the same 4G “Dumoine” handset from that leaked fall roadmap, indicating a potential November 9th launch. So, will this tide you over until RIM gets BBX out into the wireless wild or are you in the market for something a little sharper?

Yesterday we brought you
news of pre-orders, and today we can confirm that the
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has passed the exhaustive scrutinizing that the
FCC does so well. The version that had its insides prodded with multimeters and suchlike was the 16GB WiFi model, with no talk of any other mobile wireless capability. Still, whilst it may not be able to roam around the country without a
MiFi, you know that when it’s emerged from the testing bunker, it won’t be long before it’s available in stores.

They’re not keen on providing milk, and we’ve never found evidence to suggest that Verizon’s COWs are indeed happy COWs, but Big Red has welcomed a new arrival to its family: the company’s first LTE-equipped cell-on-wheels. Measuring in at 1,080 inches tall and weighing a stunning 24,000 pounds, the self-powered transmitter will begin rolling across Florida to handle demand spikes during major events and to serve as a backup communications solution for emergency response scenarios. Although just an infant, it’s capable of handling hundreds of simultaneous calls and data transmissions. Spoken like a thrilled papa, Verizon gushed, “We’re very proud of this new baby, and glowing about our 4G LTE services around the state.” You’ll find all the carrier’s cheers in the PR after the break.

Stacking the lineup against Google Wallet, manufacturers HTC, LG, Motorola, RIM, Samsung and Sony Ericsson have been drafted by team Isis, agreeing to implement its NFC technology standard into future phone offerings. By garnering multi-manufacturer support, the joint AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon venture is pulling a power move against Mountain View’s offering — currently only functional on Sprint’s Nexus S 4G (although that’s almost certainly bound to change). Finally gearing up for battle, the crew recently pumped $100 million into the initiative, helping to win support from the aforementioned hardware heavy hitters. For those who aren’t ready to buy a new phone just to jump on the NFC bandwagon, Isis says it’s working with DeviceFidelity to add the functionality to older models as well. The more devices that have the technology, the better the chance we’ll be ditching our leather wallets for the mobile variety. Or so they say. Check out the full PR after the break.

It’s borderline crazy to think that we posed this very question about the original Droid Incredible in June of 2010, yet here we are again. Same question, different day, and (mostly) different phone. Verizon Wireless has been pumping out Android devices like it’s its job — and really, it sort of is — and HTC’s DI2 is certainly one of the more polarizing options. Loaded with Sense and plenty of VZW “extras,” we’re anxious to see if the things that bothered us also bothered you. Is the screen size adequate? Are you still better off with Sense than without? Would you change the form factor or software in any way for the inevitable third iteration? Holler in comments below — we’re all ears.
